Course Description

This course is designed to provide an overview of SAP HANA. The course also provides an understanding of In-Memory Computing and the analytical capabilities of SAP HANA .The course provides hands on experience with creating SAP HANA views and consuming them via various SAP Business Objects end-user suite of reporting tools.

Audience

This course is targeted for consultants, project team members and modelers who wish to gain an understanding of SAP HANA, data provisioning methods for SAP HANA and its analytical capabilities.

Objectives

After completing this course, students will be able to perform basic modeling and administrative tasks using SAP HANA. Students will also understand how to provision data for SAP HANA in batch mode as well as in real time. Also covered is the use of end-user reporting tools (Web Intelligence, Universes, Analysis for Excel, Microsoft Excel, Explorer) to analyze data within SAP HANA. The course provides extensive hands on workshops in order to reinforce topics taught.
